After hosting the largest meet in program history last week with the 49er Classic, the 49ers Track and Field programs head to Raleigh, N.C. to participate in the Raleigh Relays hosted by N.C. State, March 28-29.

On day one of the 49er Classic, the meet kicked off with the women's heptathlon and the men's decathlon. On the women's side four events were completed, and five events on the men's.

The Charlotte 49ers Track and Field program hosts the 17th annual 49er Classic in the confines of the Irwin Belk Track and Field Center. The 2014 49er Classic is the largest in the history of the event with 46 teams and 1,300 runners on both sides.
