As the track and field season winds down and looking towards the Conference USA Outdoor Championships, the Niners host the Charlotte Invitational this weekends action. Charlotte welcomes USC Upstate, East Carolina, App State, N.C. A&T and UNC Wilmington.

Charlotte 49ers Track and Field teams placed third in the East Carolina Invitational over the weekend. South Carolina took the overall spot scoring 216 points on the women's side and edging East Carolina by 2.5 points on the men's.

Coming off three straight weeks of participating against large fields, the Niners head to Greenville, N.C. to participate in the East Carolina Inivitational this weekend, starting April 11 and wrap up on the 12th.

The Charlotte 49ers wrapped up the weekend competing at the Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla. and the Colonial Relays in Williamsburg, Va.

Kicking off the 2014 outdoor season last week hosting the 49er Classic, the Charlotte Track and Field program competed in the Raleigh Relays in Raleigh, N.C. over the weekend.
